Q:   How big does an enclosure need to be for our containers?  Or how thick does an approach pad need to be for the dumpster?
A:   The minimum measurements for an enclosure should be 12’ x 10’.  Gates should open 180 degrees TO THE OUTSIDE.  These measurements are for a head on approach; if there is an angle to the approach, the enclosure should be designed more carefully.  If you need assistance with this aspect we will gladly meet you on site to help plan and design the enclosure with you.

Approach Pads:

Pads are specifically designed to decrease the amount of wear and tear on asphault caused by front steering tires.  The weight of the truck, not to mention the weight of the load is quite extraordinary, so these pads are highly recommended.

The pad should be a minimum 9’ x 6’, 6” thick, and use 1/4'” rebar at a minimum of 12” centers.
